Kenan "was largely unimportant" Manyasli

Kenan is Akif's former (former because he's deceased... parents don't last long on this show) business partner, the Man part of the Ataman Group. He was born with money and has little to zero affection for his wife and child (which to be fair, if your wife was Suzan Hanim and your daughter was Harika...) but spends most of his time working. When he finds out that his business partner and his wife are having an affair he gets into a tragic, but convenient, car wreck and dies. Thus being the catalyst for the financial downfall of his family.

Suzan "Bad Mother/Bad Friend/Bad Person" Manyasli

Suzan Hanim is not a good person. She came from a poor family and gave birth to Omer as a result of a teenage pregnancy. After abandoning (or allowing her dad to abandon... we'll see how the writers try to save her) Omer, she marries Kenan the wealthy owner of the factory where her family worked. Due to her unhappy marriage, she begins an affair with her best friend's husband, and her own husband's business partner. If that wasn't bad enough, it was her daughter's, boyfriend's, dad. Yeah. Yuck... too close. This affair results in the death of the Eren children's parents. Though Suzan feels brief remorse and tries to financially help the children, her vile pettiness takes the form of competition against Nebahat for Akif's attention (gross) and the eventual loss of her wealth when she battles Akif later on. Meanwhile, she's reinforcing all Harika's negative behaviors while being a disappointment to Omer.

Harika "Hi, I'm a narcissist!!!" Manyasli

Where to start? She once dated Doruk Atakul? She pushed her pregnant mother down the stairs causing a miscarriage? She led Ogulcan on for her own benefit? She locked Aybike in a closet after reading her diary aloud for the entire school? She knew that Tolga was trying to dishonor Asiye in a disgustingly vile way and did nothing about it? She likes to illegally handle fire arms? She's a thief? She physically harmed herself then blamed Omer? She stole a test, then framed Asiye? She stomps around and says, "I hate you!" all day long? SO MUCH STUFF... I'd forgotten half of it and only remembered as I was writing.... and there were things I left out for brevity. Rest assured, Harika has not had healthy parental figures, has never had boundaries, and lives on the delusion of her puffed up self importance. She uses people for her benefit, and even her relationship with Doruk felt more as though the status and attractiveness of Doruk were important, but his personality and behavior was incidental. Whatever brief moments of humanity she's shown have been carefully overridden by her extreme self interest.
